Sony Ericsson Cedar - A value for money phone. 3G Phone with Rs. 5500 as Price in India

Sony Ericsson Cedar is a great value for money mobile. It is a conventional, lightweight and affordable 3G phone. Sony Ericsson Cedar forms part of Sony Ericsson's "GreenHeart" range of more environmentally responsible devices.

There's a 2.2" 240 x 320 pixel display on the front, a 2 megapixel camera on the back, support for HSDPA data, there's an FM radio and microSD slot and a multimedia player. The video capture quality is quoted as being VGA resolution at 30 frames per second, which is decent for a low cost phone and is certainly good enough for YouTube. You can use the Cedar as a cellular modem too, which should appeal to business users.

One major attraction is the ability to import contacts directly from an S40 or S60 phone via the memory card.
